Travelling for work and travelling for leisure are two very different propositions. I generally find prsonal travel to be a lot more free-form and less intense due partly yo being on holiday, and partly because you will generally have time to work around ineffecicinces and delays. Travel for work purposes requires a much more considered approach and should be optiised as much as possible to protect from uncertainty and to ensure the impact of delays will be minimal.
